Happy the Horse written PDF crochet / amigurumi pattern. NOTE: this is not the finished toy. This pattern is available in English only. US crochet terms.
This pattern is intermediate skill level and includes written instructions and 47 process photos. The finished item will stand approximately 24cm tall and approximately 15cm long. Legs, body and neck are crocheted as one piece. Other parts are crocheted separately and sewn together, some basic sewing skills are required.
Materials needed:
- 2.75mm crochet hook
- DK 8 ply acrylic yarn
- 12mm black safety eyes (eyes with eyelids can be purchased in accessories)
- Toy stuffing
- Stitch markers x2
- Large sewing needle

Super clear instructions!
I was asked to make a Ponyta Pokemon, so I started looking for a pattern and came across Happy the Horse. This is a beautiful pattern, the instructions are very clear and with the added photos, it was just great.
I did get a little stuck putting the legs together, after a quick email, I was sent a fabulous you tube video that solved that wee problem.
I highly recommend this pattern. I loved it and my Ponyta looks gorgeous. Thank you.

I am somewhat new to crochet and this pattern was thorough and easy to follow, I used chunky yarn so the horse turned out way bigger than planned but so perfect! Highly recommend!
